The middle floor of the Scholar's Pad is dedicated to a study area and lounge, providing the perfect space for the family to immerse themselves in knowledge and bond over shared interests. The combination of light wood tones, white walls, and ample natural lighting creates a bright and airy atmosphere, ideal for concentration and focus. A large rectangular table comfortably accommodates the whole family, while a classroom-sized blackboard serves as a canvas for ideas, solutions, or simply doodles.
The design of the Scholar's Pad incorporates unique features that set it apart from traditional residences. A collapsible sliding glass door separates the living room and dining area, preventing the transfer of cooking aromas and conserving air conditioning costs. Color coding and floor tiling differentiate the kitchen from the dining room, while the entryway seamlessly transitions into the living room.
The stairwell area of the Scholar's Pad showcases innovative design solutions. Recessed walls provide enhanced storage and display space, while strategically placed glass panes open up visual space and allow for clear sightlines. The combination of functionality and aesthetics creates a harmonious and efficient living environment.
Completed in 2021, the Scholar's Pad is a testament to the creativity and technical expertise of Zhan Hao Interior Design Limited. Winner of the Iron A' Design Award in 2023, the Scholar's Pad has been recognized for its well-designed, practical, and innovative features. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world through thoughtful design.
